There’s a bite here that one can’t stop eating,
And even more so after you see what ingredients it’s made out of.
I like to eat it just like that.
It looks innocent and simple,
But it’s so delicious that you can’t stop eating it.
It’s a quick and hot bite that gives a lot of peace,
It satisfies and keeps the body comfortable for a long time,
It’s delicious and indulgent,
It fits into any bite you choose for it,
It’s perfect the way it is.
And it’s just a bite that you won’t stop making 🙂
Meet my oatmeal banana treats.
Just five minutes, that’s all you’ll need in order to prepare it and fall in love from the first bite.
The name of this bite is exactly what it is,
It’ll always spoil you even when you want to include it in a meal,
And also when your tummy begins to tickle.
Happy, joyful and sweet days of treats to all of us 🙂
Banana oatmeal treat
Ingredients
Suitable for one serving
- 1 whole banana
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or any sweetener you like)
- Pinch of cinnamon (not a must)
- ¼ cup instant oats
Preparation
Put the banana in a bowl and mash it with a fork. Add the cinnamon and maple syrup to the bowl and mix. Add the oats and mix again to a uniform mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a hot, lightly greased pan. Stir the mixture in the hot pan until beautiful tanned crumbs are formed with the intoxicating smell of banana and cinnamon.
Take the mixture out of the pan and transfer it to our indulgent plate. I chose a plate of yogurt, persimmons and some good pumpkin seeds, but any addition you choose will work.
You can prepare this bite and eat it as a snack.
A little extra from me:
- This treat can be kept in the fridge in a sealed box for up to 3 days.
- You can reheat it in the microwave / in a panini press / in a hot pan.
- You can saute my banana treats with a little butter / coconut oil – it gives a really juicy and good bite.
