My chia pudding has been my refreshing morning snack for a long time now.
I started the journey with it somewhere at the beginning of my naturopathy studies.
It was my morning snack on days full of self-discovery and great learning.
Now that I am a student again, I returned to this morning bite with great excitement.
It’s light and it’s filling for a long time,
It’s full of dietary fibers that make every morning balanced and calm,
It’s rich in essential and wonderful fatty acids,
And keeps me focused throughout the day.
It’s delicious, smooth and wonderful.
You can vary with it and use a different fruit that you like each time.
It’s fresh and refreshing especially for the hot mornings.
It’s easy to prepare and super fast.
And It’s pretty and stunning which is a treat in itself.
It’s a quick bite and filled with accuracy,
It’s the one that’ll start or end the day with you.
It’ll become your daily snack.
Choose the time and it’ll adjust itself with great love.
It is quick to prepare and fun to devour.
And it is fun to prepare for others with great ease and happiness.
A few seconds in the kitchen and it’s yours 🙂
Fresh and happy days of indulgence to us all 🙂
Chia Pudding
Ingredients: suitable for a jar / small-medium bowl
- 2-3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup (For alternatives, have a look at “A little extra from me”)
- ⅓ cup non-dairy milk that you like (The amount of milk depends on the size of the jar you chose)
- 1-2 tablespoons instant oats (Not a must)
Steps :
- Put the chia seeds in a jar / bowl and fill it with non-dairy milk.
- To the dish, add maple syrup and instant oats if you choose to use it, and mix well.
- close the dish with the lid and place it on the counter for about 10-15 minutes.
- Open the lid, mix again and put inside in the fridge for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Take out of the fridge, add fruits that you like and serve with a huge smile 🙂
A little extra from me:
- The pudding can be kept in the fridge without the fruits for 2 days.
- It’s important that you choose a milk that you like since its taste will be relatively noticeable.
- Maple syrup can be substituted for any other sweetener and can also be omitted altogether.
- A little vanilla extract can be added.
- The pudding can be packed in a cooler and be taken with you anywhere you want.
