Here is a recipe for the most addictive crunch on the face of the earth.
It’s similar to an energy bar that you can’t stop eating,
But it’s better,
More nutritious,
And contains ingredients that we would all like to have in our bite.
Crispy energy bars flavored with cinnamon and coconut
That can be full of flavors and textures,
That are ready in a few quick minutes,
And those that give lots of sweet and magical moments.
It’s a recipe that arrived just in time for that feeling of winter in the air.
It goes wonderful with tea,
It’s amazing next to a cup of coffee,
It’s insanely good with a plate of fruit next to it,
And there’s no better treat than this whenever you want a minute of pleasure.
It requires mixing all the ingredients,
Rolling and short baking.
Easy,
Fast,
Simple,
And wonderful 🙂
A few quick minutes of preparation,
And the insanely crunchy bite will play in your ears.
Sweet and happy crunch days to all of us 🙂
Crispy energy bars
Ingredients: suitable for a standard oven pan
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 cup instant oat (quick to prepare)
- 1 cup coconut powder (for alternatives, have a look at “A little extra from me”)
- A flat teaspoon of cinnamon (for alternatives, have a look at “A little extra from me”)
- Pinch of salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup cup coconut oil at room temperature (for alternatives, have a look at “A little extra from me”)
- ½ cup maple syrup (for alternatives, have a look at “A little extra from me”)
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) on turbo mode.
- In a bowl put all the dry ingredients, the oat flour, the instant oats, the coconut powder, cinnamon, salt and baking powder and mix well.
- Add the liquid ingredients, the melted coconut oil and the maple syrup to the bowl of the dry ingredients and mix again into a sticky dough. Let our dough rest on the counter for about 5 minutes. We should get a sticky dough with few lumps.
- Using a slightly wet hand, flatten the dough on parchment paper into a uniform rectangle. Place additional parchment paper on top of the dough and roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a thin rectangle of uniform thickness. Pay attention, it’s important not to roll the dough too thin and it’s important to make sure to roll it to a uniform thickness.
- Remove the top parchment paper and with the help of a sharp and smooth knife cut our dough into small rectangles, I recommend cutting to the size of sweet energy bars.
- Transfer the parchment paper, with the cut dough, to the baking pan and put it in the oven to bake for 15-17 minutes, until the dough dries out and browns a little.
- Take the pan out of the oven, let it cool and go gently with a sharp and smooth knife over the cuts we made in the dough before baking.
Put it on a plate and serve with great joy 🙂
A little extra from me:
- The bite is super crispy and addictive immediately after baking. As time goes by the bite loses its amazing crispiness, it remains delicious and wonderful, but less crispy.
- The bars can be kept in a sealed box on the counter for up to 4 days. As mentioned, with each passing day the crispiness decreases.
- You can replace the cinnamon with any spice you like or leave it out.
- You can replace the coconut powder with more instant oats (for quick preparation).

- You can replace the melted coconut oil with 100g of soft butter at room temperature.
- You can replace the maple syrup with agave syrup.
