Imagine for one minute a cloud of soft and moist apples,
Swimming in a sweet cinnamon cream,
On top there’s a good and hugging blanket of crumbs,
And all this is making its way to you in an exciting and amazing bite.
It’s this crumble,
It’s a dream come true.
It’s exciting,
It’s soft,
It’s warming,
It’s a perfect fit for the morning coffee.
It doesn’t contain a drop of oil,
It’s vegan,
It’s gluten-free,
And it’s tender, oh so tender, the type of tenderness you only meet in your dreams.
Take all the magical moments described here,
Add 3 minutes of work and 2 minutes in the microwave,
And you’ll get the ultimative package of happiness.
Apple crumble,
Soft, juicy, indulging and exciting in five minutes of work including baking time.
And now after all the facts are presented there isn’t a chance that there’s anyone in this universe who wouldn’t make it.
Make it and then get addicted,
Make it and then get excited,
Make it and then make their heart shiver with happiness.
All that’s left for you to do is to choose your favorite apple and start the party.
Let the excitement stroke every part of your body,
The crumble is a lot tastier and indulging when the excitement is great.
Enjoy, give in, smile and taste 🙂
Super happy and exciting crumble days to all of us 🙂
Two Minutes Apple Crumble
Ingredients: suitable for a wide bowl, for one gobbler or two people who want to snack
- 1 whole apple (Have a look at “A little extra From Me”)
- 3 tablespoons milk non-dairy / regular
- 1 tablespoon almond flour (For alternatives, have a look at “A little extra From Me”)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Pinch of cinnamon (Not a must but recommended)
- 4-5 raisins cut into halves (not a must)
For the crumble:
- 3 packed tablespoons almond flour (For alternatives, have a look at “A little extra From Me”)
- 2 tablespoons oat flour
- 1½ tablespoons maple syrup (For alternatives, have a look at “A little extra From Me”)
- Pinch of cinnamon (Not a must but recommended)
**If you rather not use oat flour (People who suffer from celiac and avoid oatmeal / keto diet) put 5 tablespoons of almond flour in the crumble mixture**
Steps:
- Peel the apple and slice it into small cubes and put them in a micro-safe bowl.
- To the bowl add almond flour, non-dairy milk, maple syrup and cinnamon, mix well and place it aside (If you choose to add raisins, add them now).
- Make the crumble: in another bowl put crumble ingredients, almond flour, oat flour, maple syrup and cinnamon and mix well until forming a crumbly mixture.
- Scatter the crumble on top of the apple mixture we’ve made. It’s important to scatter the crumbs all throughout the surface of the bowl, so it covers all the apple mixture.
- Put in the microwave for only two minutes – and that is it, it’s ready!
The crumble can be eaten hot or you can let it cool for a little while.
*The crumble could also be baked in a preheated oven to 355°F (180°C) for between 5-7 minutes.
A little extra from me:
- Apple can be substituted for pear / plum / apricot
- Click here to see how to grind oat flour at home.
- Oat flour can be substituted for almond flour in this recipe (This will also make the recipe kosher for passover)
- All the almond flour can be substituted for oat flour.
- I recommend choosing a Smith green apple, it’ll give the crumble a dreamy texture. There is no need to fear the apple’s sourness, it vanishes completely once the ingredients are all combined together. Of course any other apple will work as well.
- I recommend eating the crumble after waiting for 2 minutes for it to cool a little.
- The crumble can be served next to a vanilla / coconut ice cream ball 🙂
- Maple syrup can be substituted for honey / date honey / agave syrup.
- In the crumble, almond flour can be substituted for oat flour / coconut flour. The best version is the one containing almond flour 🙂
