Summer is already here,
And there is nothing fun as a good, rich and fresh salad.
I think the secret for a good salad byond freshness, is the dressing.
You can make this dressing within two seconds and it鈥檒l turn any salad from just a salad to the most tasty and perfect salad.
What鈥檚 fun about this dressing is that you can make a quantity that鈥檒l be enough for a few days.
Sometimes I mix it the minute I cut my salad,
And sometimes I mix a big portion and keep it in the fridge, and every day I pour some of it on my salad.
1.5 minutes of work and it鈥檚 yours 馃檪
Happy vinaigrette dyas 馃檪
Classic vinaigrette dressing
Ingredients: suitable for a medium size salad
- 录 cup olive oil
- 4 tablespoons vinegar (Apple / wine vinegar / balsamic vinegar / lemon juice)
- 1 tablespoon honey / maple syrup / agave syrup
- 1 teaspoon yellow or grainy mustard (Not a must)
- 陆 teaspoon salt
Add-ins for upgrade:
- Pinch of white / black pepper
- 陆 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon yellow or grainy mustard聽
Steps:
- Pour all ingredients into a jar or a bowl and mix well.
- Pour on the salad 馃檪
A little extra from me:
- It鈥檚 easier to make the dressing in a jar, this way you can easily mix by shaking the jar. If there鈥檚 any dressing left you can keep it in the fridge in a close jar.
- You can make enough dressing for 6 small salad dishes – multiply the portions by 3, keep the jar sealed in the fridge and use as needed.
- Recipe for a fresh & simple lettuce salad that fits any meal: 2 hearts of romaine lettuce cut into wide pieces, red onion cut into half and sliced, handful of sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. Can add any fruit or vegetable that comes to mind to the salad base. Pour the vinaigrette dressing that we鈥檝e made, mix lightly and gobble.
Simple Vinaigrette dressing
Ingredients: suitable for a medium size salad
- 录 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar聽 / 录 cup vinegar (Apple / white wine vinegar / white balsamic vinegar)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 陆 teaspoon salt
- 陆 teaspoon baking powder
Steps:
- Pour all ingredients into a jar or a bowl and mix well.
- Pour on the salad 馃檪
