We’re Moving to Italy – Part 2

The second part of our vlog summarizes the most intense couple of weeks I’ve had until we got here,

Weeks filled with organizing and logistics,
Weeks filled with thoughts,
Weeks filled with goodbyes,
Weeks filled with concerns,
Weeks filled with dreams,
Weeks filled with all ranges of emotions and feelings that exist.

In these couple of weeks I have managed to put the whole life of a whole family into luggages,
I’ve collected pieces of happiness from our magical home and brought them with me to Italy.
I’ve collected memories of visions, emotions and scents that are deep in my heart and comfort me in moments of great longings.

The second part of our journey has come to an end,
And this is the path to our new home.
Now that we’ve been in our new home in Italy for nearly a month I’m learning to walk again,
In our narrowed family structure,
Greeting people in the streets with a good morning in a different language when most of the time they’re surprised by me saying Buongiorno,
But that is just what I’m like when my eyes meet someone elses eyes, my eyes will always be kind and welcoming.

We are now living a new pace,
Learning life,
Missing,
Filled with lots of feelings,
Flooded with experiences,
And we know that our journey has only begun…

The second part of our vlog is up in the air,
It tells about our last days before the flight,
Preparations,
Thoughts,
Experiences,
Feelings,
And the massive flu that attacked all of us at the peak of preparations.

In a week’s time school will start,
The excitement is huge,
And the part of arriving to Italy,
Entering the house and the great deal of work that we put into it,
And days of acclimation,
