400;\">Legumes are gifts from god.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They\u2019re made out of small grains filled with nutritional values.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They\u2019re filled with happiness,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And they\u2019re packed with wonderful flavors and textures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I love combining my legumes in almost every meal of the day.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Especially when a good and rich vegetable dish joins them.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is how this pot was created \u2013<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Out of the thought of creating a fresh and nutritious dish.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creating a filling and light bite,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A bite that\u2019ll fit perfectly with my lunch or dinner.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A bite that\u2019ll make me feel light and not heavy after having it.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A nutritious and balanced bite,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And most importantly tasty and indulging.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a quick and nutritious pot that I make in a few single minutes,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And it can stay for a number of days.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s a great side dish,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019ll make any salad pop,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019ll fit amazingly in a soup,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019ll will hug any rice or quinoa dish,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s just a pot filled with accuracy and joy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And if that\u2019s not enough you also make it very quickly.<br Greens<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Ingredients: suitable for a medium size pot, between 6-8 dishes<\/b><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1-1\u00bd cup chickpeas cooked and ready to eat<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 big red \/ white onion or two medium size onions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 garlic cloves<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bundle of curly kale leaves \/ dinosaur kale leaves \/ pak choi leaves\u00a0 \/ fresh spinach (A bag of 200g) \/ broccoli florets \/ cauliflower florets<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 tablespoons olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pinch white pepper \/ black finely ground<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lemon juice out of a whole lemon<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A little lemon zest<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2-3 stems thyme (Not a must, can be substituted for any other herb you like)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Stepes:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour olive oil in the pot, sprinkle salt and fry the chopped onions. Kindly note- onions should be fried with the lead covering the pot while mixing every few minutes to caramelize the onions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the garlic cloves and once the garlic smell begins to spread around the room mix. Spread the green leaves that we chose. I chose dinosaur kale leaves, which is the most wonderful addition to this dish.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fry the leaves, onions and garlic on medium-high flame and let them all give in to the heat of the pot. Add thyme, lemon zest and lemon juice and mix again.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every few minutes mix and toss the whole content of the pot.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the cooked and ready to eat chickpeas and toss the whole mixture of the pot for a few more minutes \u2013 and that is it \ud83d\ude42 The dish is ready. Taste and adjust the seasoning, make sure there\u2019s enough salt and if there isn\u2019t add some, and mix again while the mixture is still hot.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Serve to the table with love \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>A little extra from me:<\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can be kept in the fridge in a sealed box for up to 4 days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kindly note \u2013 It\u2019s important to choose a wide and not tall pot, so there will be enough space to toss the entire content of the pot.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chickpeas can be substituted for black or green lentils \/ white, brown or lima beans.
