\n<\/span>That\u2019s the essence of this holiday, wouldn\u2019t you say?
\n<\/span>Passover is coming soon and with it begins the matzah bread with chocolate spread season.
\n<\/span>Because all of us have this inner child that matzah with a chocolate spread had made the holiday for them.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are those who like their matzos wet,
\n<\/span>And there are those who like their matzos dry.
\n<\/span>There are those who spread a super thin layer of chocolate,
\n<\/span>And there are those who spread a thick juicy layer.
\n<\/span>No matter what your version is, it certainly contains chocolate spread and matzos \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

My chocolate spread may be dreamy on a matzah and perfect for passover,
\n<\/span>But it suits every day of the year.
\n<\/span>It\u2019s one of the quickest, most exciting spreads out there.
\n<\/span>The kids give in to its taste in seconds,
\n<\/span>And the grown ups fall in love with its sweet taste.
\n<\/span>Everybody\u2019s happy around it,
\n<\/span>Everybody\u2019s pleased around it,
\n<\/span>Everybody\u2019s excited around it,
\n<\/span>And all of this around one spread, made with four ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes,
\n<\/span>A total of four ingredients,
\n<\/span>Which have a wide variety of substitutes that\u2019ll create a dreamy and thick spread.
\n<\/span>A chocolaty spread,
\n<\/span>A creamy spread,
\n<\/span>An addictive spread,
\n<\/span>A divine spread,
\n<\/span>A perfect spread for any bedding you choose for it.<\/span><\/p>\n

My chocolate spread opens its season with passover\u2019s matzos,
\n<\/span>But it\u2019s here to stay for the rest of the days of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because we\u2019re all just matzos with chocolate spread kids,
\n<\/span>Each one in its own way,
\n<\/span>Each one with its own memories from home,
\n<\/span>So with a little precision you can keep the balance and give in to this sweet childhood experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Perfect Chocolate Spread<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients: suitable for a 250ml jar<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \u00bd cup almond butter (For alternatives, have a look at \u201cA little extra From Me\u201d)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 3 tablespoons quality cocoa powder<\/span><\/li>\n
  • \u00bc cup maple syrup (For alternatives, have a look at \u201cA little extra From Me\u201d)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Pinch of salt<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 3-4 tablespoons non-dairy milk<\/span><\/li>\n
  • For decoration and crunch: crushed cocoa beans \/ almond flakes \/ toasted coconut flakes \/ crushed roasted peanuts \/ crushed pecans or any other addition you like<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Steps:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. In a bowl put all ingredients according to the following order: almond butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder and milk and mix well. It\u2019s super important to mix very well.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Add a pinch of salt and taste a lottttt. If you like you can also scatter the toppings inside the spread or only on top of it.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Place our spread in a jar and scatter a little of the toppings on top, If we chose to add any \u2013 I chose a smooth spread with no toppings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      And that is it, it\u2019s ready <\/span><\/p>\n

      A little extra from me:<\/b><\/p>\n

      • Can be kept in the fridge in a jar \/ sealed box for up to one month.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • If your spread doesn\u2019t turn out smooth, try adding 1-2 tablespoons of non-dairy milk.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • This is the funnest most easy recipe there is, get wild with it and with the toppings \u2013 it\u2019s great fun.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Almond butter can be substituted for hazelnut butter \/ cashew butter \/ peanut butter tahini.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Maple syrup can be substituted for honey or date honey (Kindly note that the date honey tends to take over a little)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Try the spread on strawberries \u2013 wow it\u2019s so dreamy <\/span><\/li>\n
      • Enjoy, try, taste, experience, share and most importantly smile <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
