Almond Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">This week the whole family sat down for Friday night dinner,<br \/>\nAnd like every Friday, my father tore the challah and handed it to everyone.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I had a slice of my gluten-free bread waiting for me,<br \/>\nAnd unfortunately it wasn\u2019t like the cloudy tender gluten challah that was waiting on the Shabbat table.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I looked at the Sabbath challah,<br \/>\nAnd its softness looked back at me.<br \/>\nThe matbucha that was placed on the table winked at me,<br \/>\nAnd I decided that tomorrow I was going to wipe the matbucha with the soft part of the bread.<br \/>\nBut with an airy and healthy gluten-free bread,<br \/>\nJust like the one I\u2019ve been dreaming of for a long time.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I woke up on Saturday morning with one goal in mind,<br \/>\nArriving at the family lunch with soft and airy bread in my hands.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I mixed, calculated and baked the closest bread to the soft part of the challah that I know.<br \/>\nThe bread isn\u2019t stretchy and elastic as the challah,<br \/>\nBut it\u2019s soft and airy enough,<br \/>\nAnd it\u2019s amazing for whipping matbucha.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I ground the oat flour in one minute in the blender,<br \/>\nAnd I turned a regular ingredient that we all have at home into something different and addictive,<br \/>\nAnd into an integral part of my bread.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I arrived for lunch on Saturday with an impressive and beautiful loaf of bread.<br \/>\nEveryone gave up the challah and indulged in a good slice of the oat bread I made.<br \/>\nWe wiped the matbucha with these soft and cloudy slices of bread,<br \/>\nAnd everyone\u2019s faces at the table were decorated with a huge smile.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Now all that\u2019s left is to get up on Saturday morning,<br \/>\nHeat the oven,<br \/>\nAnd make the most airiest and softest bread that you Almond Bread<\/h1>\n<hr \/>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Ingredients: suitable for a loaf pan (nondisposable)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">4 eggs<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u00bc cup olive oil<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u00bd cup non-dairy milk<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u2153 cup water<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 garlic clove or 1 teaspoon garlic powder<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 cup oat flour<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 cup almond flour<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">2 teaspoons baking powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Add-in (for alternatives, have a look at \u201cA little extra from me\u201d)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">3 tablespoons white sesame seeds<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">3 tablespoons black sesame seeds<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">3 tablespoons chia seeds<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">3 tablespoons quaker (quick oats)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 tablespoon quaker (quick oats) to decorate the bread<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Preheat the oven to 355\u00b0F (180\u00b0C), and line a baking pan with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Put the liquid ingredients, the eggs, milk, water, olive oil, salt and garlic into a blender or bowl and mix well to get a liquid, sticky and uniform batter.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">In a separate bowl, put the dry ingredients, the oat flour, the almond flour and the baking powder into a uniform dry mixture.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Combine the liquid mixture with the dry mixture and add the toppings to the batter.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Pour the batter into the pan, sprinkle a little quaker on top of the bread for decoration and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry from the bread.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>A little extra from me:<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The bread can be kept in the fridge in a sealed box for up to 5 days.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The slices of bread are really tasty after a light roasting in the oven or in a hot pan.<\/li>\n<li home.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">You can replace the add-ins with anything you like such as flax, whole sesame, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds or add more of any of the add-ins such
