Microwave Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cake
Ingredients
Ingredients for one personal cake:
- One egg
- Two tablespoons maple syrup (or any sweetener you choose)
- Three tablespoons any kind of milk.
- A teeny-tiny pinch of salt.
- 1/3 cup almond flour or 1/4 cup oat flour.
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
- Two tablespoons chocolate chips, raisins, cranberries, or any topping you choose.
Preparation
Mix the egg with the maple syrup, milk, and salt.
Add the almond flour and baking powder and mix, add the chocolate chips and mix, transfer to a microwave-safe bowl, scatter a few more chocolate chips over the batter, and microwave for 2-3 minutes.
The microwave time depends on the power of your microwave,
mine needs exactly 2 minutes.
Take it out of the microwave and serve with love to the children or to ourselves, alongside a good cup of coffee.
A little more from me:
- You can prepare it a day ahead, cool it thoroughly, and only then pack it and keep it in the refrigerator.
- You can make it in the oven, the texture will be slightly different, and the result will be less crispy and browned. Bake in an oven preheated to 180ยฐC, without parchment paper over the mixture, for 10-15 minutes.
