Healthy chocolate mousse that’s a complete meal in one!
It’s one of the most indulgent bites out there,
and beyond how delicious it is,
it’s powerful and wonderful – your body will celebrate it nonstop.
It’s a bite that can be a real breakfast,
a good dinner,
or the perfect snack at any time of day.
You can make it without chia seeds,
and even without cocoa,
You can add fruits you love (even into the yogurt mixture),
and simply enjoy a perfect bite that will treat you and make you feel amazing 🙂
It takes just a few minutes to prepare and a short chill,
and it’ll be waiting for you in the fridge for whenever you feel that little tummy tingle 🙂

Healthy Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
Serves 2 portions:
- 1 cup plain yogurt (any kind, you can use vegan yogurt)
- 2 tablespoons preferred milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup /or any sweetener you like
- A pinch of fine salt
- 2 tablespoons high-quality cocoa powder (preferably organic) (for alternatives, see “A Little Extra From Me”)
- 4 teaspoons chia seeds (optional, but they add wonderful texture and nutritional value)
- Toppings to taste: fresh or dried fruit, nut butters, etc.
Preparation
Put the yogurt, cocoa powder, maple syrup, milk, and salt into a food processor, and blend until all the ingredients are fully combined.
Divide the blended mixture between two serving bowls. In each bowl, add 2 teaspoons of chia seeds and stir them into the mixture. Cover the bowls and refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours – I recommend leaving them in the fridge overnight.
Remove from the fridge, top with your chosen toppings (or enjoy without), and serve with lots of love for a day full of energy and strength.
A Little Extra From Me:
- You can store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to five days, without the toppings.
- You can replace the cocoa powder with cinnamon or vanilla extract.
- You can also blend the mixture with ¼ cup chopped fruit of your choice.
- Add the toppings just before serving, in the bite itself.
