I found the most addictive spread in the world!
My Halva spread is full of toasted coconut,
And as soon as you taste it, you’ll fall in love with its wonderful flavors and aromas,
And you won’t stop eating it.
It’s perfect in a sandwich.
It’s dreamy next to cut fruits,
It’s amazing over a good plate of yogurt,
It’s insanely good with crackers,
And dreamy next to any addition you choose for it.
It’s a spread that you can make in two quick seconds,
And gobble it faster than the preparation time,
And once you let this recipe in your kitchen, you won’t stop making it.
This spread,
Is a combination of salted caramel,
Halva,
And a wonderful coconut aroma.
It’s here to celebrate with us the return to normal,
The happiness in sweet and wonderful bites,
And the great joy that’s in our food.
Because everyone needs a halva spread in their life 🙂
Happy and joyful spread days to all of us 🙂

Halva Spread
Ingredients: suitable for a 250ml jar
- ½ cup tahini (for alternatives, have a look at “A little extra from me”)
- ¼ cup honey (for alternatives, have a look at “A little extra from me”)
- Pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons roasted coconut powder (roasted in a pan)
- 3 tablespoons non-dairy milk
Steps:
- Heat a pan on medium heat and transfer our coconut powder to it. Fry the coconut powder for a few minutes until it changes its color to a slightly tan color.
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl in the following order: tahini, honey, salt, coconut powder and finally the non-dairy milk and mix well. It’s important to mix very well.
Transfer our spread to a jar and that’s it, our spread is ready 🙂
A little extra from me:
- The spread can be kept in a jar / sealed container in the fridge for up to a week.
- If your spread doesn’t come out smooth, try adding another 1-2 tablespoons of non-dairy milk.
- You can replace the tahini with almond butter / hazelnut butter / cashew butter / peanut butter.
- You can replace the honey with maple syrup / agave syrup / date honey (note that the date honey takes over a little).
- You can omit the toasted coconut or replace it with any other addition of your choice such as cocoa nibs, peanuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, ginger powder, pumpkin seeds, dried fruit cut into cubes, etc.
- Try the spread alongside apple slices – it’s so dreamy
- Enjoy, experiment, taste, experience, share and most importantly smile
